Gabriela ‘Gucciana’ Bosquez is a proud Chicago Shorty with roots in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, México. She is a Film Photographer, Producer and Event Curator. A multidisciplinary creative that is passionate about connecting with other artists and creating pathways to connect artists of color with opportunities to thrive.

Gabriela specializes in managing and creating art programs and fellowships centered around narrative change and storytelling. Previously, she was a labor organizer dedicated to empowering workers to fight for better working conditions and economic justice. She has also been a consultant for Arts Programs and Partnerships with external partners such as True Chicago and The Blackhawks Foundation.

 

Her work highlights the beauty of everyday life, appreciation for graffiti and street art, nature, contributing to the memory of Chicago and celebrating Black and Brown people.
